Born Dandre Christmas and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Rahkii grew up with a passion for football, a competitive spirit, and the determination to create something bigger than himself.
A proud alumnus of St. Augustine High School and the University of Texas football program, Rahkii dedicated much of his early life to pursuing his dreams on the football field. However, after suffering a series of concussions throughout his college football career, he was faced with a life-changing decision to step away from the game he loved.
What initially felt like the end of one dream became the beginning of another.
His experiences as a student-athlete sparked a deeper interest in physical wellness, recovery, and the potential role of cannabis in the wellness industry. Motivated by his personal journey, Rahkii began exploring the cannabis industry, determined to turn adversity into opportunity.
In 2020, he founded Cajun Chronic, a cannabis brand inspired by his Louisiana roots and built on the values of authenticity, quality, and culture.
His entrepreneurial journey began in Los Angeles, California. Today, Rahkii leads Cajun Chronic with the same discipline, dedication, and work ethic that once fueled his football career. His mission is to continue building a brand that connects cannabis culture, responsible cultivation, agriculture, and plant-based wellness.
